Our curriculum runs along Montessori principles — student-led exploration, prepared materials, real-world application — and integrates a Christian worldview throughout.

Understanding the world from a Christian perspective — history, geography, civics, economics, and global citizenship rooted in diverse cultures.

A Day at Still We Rise
What does a Tuesday look like?
Doors open at 8:00 and dismissal is at 3:00. Every day follows the same rhythm, so children always know what comes next. Two uninterrupted work periods anchor it, and the practical parts of the day belong to the students.

Arrival and quiet work
Soft music, plants and classroom animals to tend, gardening for early arrivals. Students greet staff in Spanish and English and choose a quiet activity.

Morning Meeting
Prayer, the Pledge, words of inspiration, and stretching. The class works the calendar in both languages and explores the Five Great Lessons.

Montessori Centers
Two uninterrupted hours. Students choose their subject area and work alone or in small groups while the teacher observes and pulls small lessons.

Practical life and lunch setup
Assigned students set placemats, plates and utensils, one serves drinks, another serves the meal. Everyone helps clean up.

Lunch and recess
Outdoor play plus structured time for yoga, dance, scavenger hunts and board games.

Question of the Day
A question from a teacher or a student opens a class discussion. This block also carries art, music, drama, speech, gym and independent research.

Afternoon Centers
Small group and independent work in a different subject from the morning. Children are pulled one to one for extra instruction here.

Review and Afternoon Meeting
The teacher walks back through the day's concepts, then the class gathers on the carpet to close the day together.
Mondays and Thursdays are Hybrid Learning Days, when homeschool students join in person. Tuesdays and Fridays carry most observations and quizzes. Wednesdays are for projects and drama.
Ten minutes in the room answers more than any brochure.
