Why this school, why now.

The need

A Christ-centered Montessori K-5 is rare. A Christ-centered Montessori K-5 in Kissimmee is rarer still.

Florida's school-choice landscape has changed faster than its options have. Step Up For Students now puts the cost of a $8,000 private-school year within reach of almost every K-12 family in the state — but the schools families can actually pick from haven't kept up.

Kissimmee parents looking for both a faith-centered school and a real Montessori approach for K-5 have had to choose one or the other. SWREA exists to stop making them choose.

The foundation

Three things that make this possible.

A sponsor

Solid Rock Community Church has served Kissimmee families since 1968. SWREA is a sponsored ministry of that congregation — and inherits its institutional stability and deep community ties.

A leader

Mr. J. Tim Quainoo, MTS, brings both the academic credentialing and the long-term community relationships a Year-1 school needs to be trusted from day one.

A credential

Membership in the American Montessori Society means SWREA practices Montessori as it was designed — not as a marketing label. AMS verifies; we comply.
