Yes. Still We Rise Excellence Academy is a Christ-centered Montessori school at 1904 Michigan Avenue, Kissimmee, FL 34744, in Osceola County. We serve kindergarten through fifth grade, ages 5 to 10, in mixed-age Montessori classrooms, and we opened for the 2026-2027 school year in August 2026.

For most Florida families, yes. Tuition is $8,000 a year and the average Step Up For Students award covers the full amount, so most scholarship families pay $0 out of pocket. Step Up is a state-funded scholarship open to every K-12 Florida resident, not a discount, a coupon or a payment plan. We complete the scholarship application alongside your school application.

Kindergarten through fifth grade only. We do not offer preschool, pre-K or VPK, and we do not run an aftercare-only program. If your child turns 5 by September 1, kindergarten is the right entry point.

We accept the FES-UA (Family Empowerment Scholarship, Unique Abilities) alongside FES-EO and FTC. What we can support day to day depends on the child, and in mixed-age classrooms that conversation has to be specific rather than general. Call the school, tell us about your child, and we will give you a straight answer about fit before you fill in anything.

Doors open at 8:00 AM and dismissal is at 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Families commute to us from Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Poinciana, Celebration, Buenaventura Lakes and Campbell, all within Osceola County.

We opened in August 2026. SWREA is a full-day Christ-centered Montessori K-5 in Kissimmee, FL, and seats remain open in the 2026-2027 Founding Class.

Yes. We are an American Montessori Society member school. Our K-5 classrooms use the Montessori approach — prepared environments, hands-on materials, mixed-age learning — woven through with Christ-centered character formation.

Yes, SWREA is an approved Step Up partner for the FTC, FES-EO, and FES-UA scholarship programs. We help families apply.

The Founding Class is our launch cohort — 24 students across K-5 for the 2026-2027 year. The children who join now help shape who SWREA becomes.

Honest answer: every new school is a leap of faith. SWREA is sponsored by a 58-year-old church, led by an MTS-credentialed Head of School who is deeply tied to the Kissimmee community, and credentialed by the American Montessori Society. The institutional foundation under SWREA is much older than the school itself.

Solid Rock Community Church is committed to operating the academy through the launch year regardless of headcount. We will not over-promise small classes and then over-pack them.
