English and Spanish, every day.

SWREA is a bilingual school community. Children hear and use both English and Spanish throughout the day, and families can talk to us in whichever language is most comfortable at home.

In the classroom

Two languages, woven into the day

Young children learn languages best by living in them. So Spanish is not a subject squeezed into a timetable; it is part of how the room talks.

Every day, not once a week

Spanish is present daily, in morning meeting, stories, songs and the calendar, alongside English.

No experience needed

Children from English-only homes start from wherever they are. At five to ten years old, they pick it up faster than adults expect.

English grows too

Children who speak Spanish at home keep and strengthen it while building confident English for reading, writing and every other subject.

For families

Se habla español

A school only works when parents can ask anything. Spanish-speaking families can call, visit, apply and get help in Spanish.

Call or visit in Spanish

Puede llamar, visitarnos o hacer preguntas en español, y le responderemos en español.

Help with the scholarship

We walk families through the Step Up application in Spanish, so tuition is never a barrier because of a form.

A real advantage

In Kissimmee and across Central Florida, growing up fluent in English and Spanish opens doors for life.
