For families
Family information: hours, pick-up, lunch and what to wear
The practical things, in one place.
Everything a family needs for an ordinary school day at SWREA. Questions we have not answered here are one phone call away.

The school day
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Doors open at 8:00. The first half hour is calm, quiet work, so arriving any time before 8:30 is perfect.
Drop-off
Arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 AM and bring your child to the classroom, where a teacher will greet them in English and Spanish.
Please say goodbye at the door. A short, warm goodbye helps children settle into their morning work.
Pick-up
Dismissal is at 3:00 PM. Please arrive on time and collect your child from the classroom.
Children are released only to a parent, guardian or adult you have named to the office, and staff may ask for photo ID.
Running late, or sending someone new? Call the office at (689) 304-3210 so we know.
Lunch
Lunch is brought from home. Please pack a lunch, a snack and a water bottle, labeled with your child's name.
Lunch is part of practical life: children set the table, serve and help clean up together.
What to wear
There is no uniform. Comfortable clothes your child can move, paint and garden in are best.
For younger children, a spare set of clothes kept in their cubby is a good idea.
Supplies
A supplies list for 2026-2027 is coming soon. We will share it with every family and post it here.
